Ingredients
1 large Chicken - cut up 2 Celery Ribs - sliced 4 Carrots - peeled and sliced 1 medium Onion - sliced 1 / 14½ oz, can Chicken Broth 2 tabsp Dried Parsley 2 tsp Chicken Bouillon Granules 2 tsp Salt 2 tsp Pepper
Dumplings
2 cups Flour 4 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Salt 3/4 cup Milk 4 tbsp Oil
Directions
In a large pan mix chicken, celery and carrots, Along with onion, chicken broth, parsley, Chicken bouillon granules, salt and pepper Add water to cover the chicken Bring to the boil Then cover and simmer for 2 hours
Remove chicken and leave stand to cool a bit Remove and discard the skin and bones Return the meat to the soup Add salt and pepper to taste Simmer
Mix dumpling ingredients To form a stiff dough Lower by tablespoonfuls into the soup Cover and continue simmering for 20 minutes Serve
